NightLase® is typically performed as a series of 3 treatments, spaced 2–4 weeks apart. Some patients may benefit from a maintenance session once or twice per year to keep results strong.

The treatment provides a warm, gentle heating sensation inside the mouth, with no needles, numbing, or downtime. You can return to work, talking, and eating normally right away, while most patients notice improvement after the first session with continued improvement after each treatment.

Yes. NightLase® is FDA‑cleared for laser therapy of mucosal tissues, non‑ablative (it does not damage or remove tissue), backed by strong safety data, and performed using Fotona’s medical‑grade SMOOTH® mode designed specifically for airway support. NightLase® does not replace medical treatment for moderate to severe sleep apnea, but it can be used alongside CPAP, oral appliances, or lifestyle improvements.

Avoid very hot or spicy foods for 2–3 hours, stay hydrated, you may feel mild throat dryness for 1–2 days. There are no activity restrictions.
